In accordance with New York State Real Property Law § 442-h and 19 NYCRR § 175.25, 555 Properties LLC provides the following standardized operating procedures for prospective homebuyers who work with our brokerage.
These procedures are uniform for all our sales agents and apply to all residential real estate transactions.
1. Identification Required from Prospective Buyers
Yes – Buyers must present a valid form of government-issued photo identification (driver’s license, state ID, or passport) prior to property showings or submission of any offer.
This is required to verify identity for security and compliance purposes.
2. Exclusive Buyer Representation Agreement
No — 555 Properties LLC does not require a buyer to sign an exclusive buyer representation agreement to receive property information, schedule showings, or submit offers.
However, buyers may voluntarily enter into an exclusive agreement if they wish to secure dedicated representation.
3. Mortgage Pre-Approval Required
Yes – Buyers are encouraged and may be required to provide a mortgage pre-approval letter or proof of funds before scheduling private property tours or making offers.
This helps ensure all parties understand the buyer’s purchasing ability and strengthens the offer process.

- These policies apply to all prospective purchasers, regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, familial status, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, or any other protected class under federal, state, or local law.
